Heat exposure
Surface inspection belongs to the heat exposure tests and is carried out according to EN 478:
Brief description:
Profile sections with a defined length are exposed to 150°C for 30 minutes. After this time, the appearance of the profiles is checked to see if there are any damages.
Test apparatus:
The test pieces are exposed to 150°C in a heating cabinet with temperature control as well as forced ventilation.The temperature control maintains a temperature of 150°C (thermometer with a scale division of 0.5°C).
