Shrinkage testThe determination of heat reversion test (shrinkage test) belongs to the heating tests and is carried out according to EN 479:Brief description: Profile sections with a defined length are exposed to 100°C for 60 minutes. Under same conditions, a marked length on the profile sections is measured before and after the heat reversion test in the heating cabinet and is specified as a relative change in length to the initial length. After this time, the appearance of the profiles is checked to see if there are any damages. . Test apparatus: The test pieces are exposed to 100°C in a heating cabinet with temperature control as well as forced ventilation.The temperature control maintains a temperature of 100°C (thermometer with a scale division of 0.5°C).
