About 8000 tons of profile material are processed on more than 20 modern extrusion plants annually in shift operation. We develop and deliver everything from full profiles to hollow profiles, from standard type profiles to special custom-made profiles, from 20 g to 3000 g per m, in different colours and thermoplastic resins, from rigid over flexible to rigid/flexible combinations in co-extrusion. Profiles for which a high rigidity is necessary can be manufactured either with glass fibre- or steel reinforcement on request. SLS can also meet the requirements of the electronics industry with conductive or antistatic materials. The profiles are used for window-, facade- and metal construction, for the automobile-, electrical-, packaging and furniture industry, as well as for the household-, insulation- or the DIY branch. Due to the in-house manufacture department the customer is not only provided with bulk stock but also with ready-made or even pre-assembled components. No matter if you need tolerated measures of length, die cutting, drilling, assembling or additional rolling of metal- or other components - SLS is the right partner for you. A great plus is our own mould construction which has been enlarged and modernised considerably. So we are able to realize short-term manufactures and refinishing quickly and without any problems. SLS produces up to 100 new dies every year. Those dies are exclusively built for the respective customer. No-one else has access to them thus no-one can benefit from the know-how or the development work. The maintenance can be done here as well. The higher demands for the protection of the environment as well as for the quality of the product make it necessary to have an up-to-date cleaning system for production dies. All moulds are tested for possible defects after production. Then they are cleaned in a special ultrasonic bath and conserved. At SLS quality is always at the beginning and at the end of production. In our production the constant inspection is of great importance and is carefully documented. The profiles are tested for accuracy by the latest technology, e.g. by VideCAD. This system stores all the test results as an image file or as a text file with which we can create trend analysis within seconds and can recall them even after some years. But nevertheless we still have our principle: "Quality must be produced - not be controlled". The raw materials come from well-known suppliers and are regularly checked by the quality control. We are DIN EN ISO 9001:2000-certified.
Furthermore we have a CSTB authorization for the French market. SLS also meets the requirements of the environment by some further measures. The process waste is correctly assorted, recycled on our own plant and then it is put back into the production process. You see - SLS can provide you with everyhing - development, design, mould construction, production or on-order manufacture. |
